Toxic Party

This installation consists of various transparent liquids: water, jenever, acetone, and turpentine. Although they look identical, some are harmless while others are hazardous. The viewer is confronted with the uncertainty of what is truly present.

Just like these liquids, soil always contains various substances, whether natural or introduced. The impact depends on their concentration and composition. What seems indistinguishable at first glance may, in the right amounts, become harmful. More information @LinkedIn post.

Deze installatie bestaat uit verschillende transparante vloeistoffen: water, jenever, aceton en terpentine. Hoewel ze er identiek uitzien, zijn sommige ongevaarlijk en andere gevaarlijk. De kijker wordt geconfronteerd met de onzekerheid over wat er werkelijk aanwezig is.

Net als deze vloeistoffen bevat aarde altijd verschillende stoffen, of ze nu natuurlijk zijn of zijn ingebracht. De impact hangt af van hun concentratie en samenstelling.
